How to use us
If you are a student or staff member at the University of Sheffield, you can use this information system to find out about local volunteering.
Our database includes over 100 local opportunities in charities and voluntary groups in Sheffield. All opportunities are assessed for their suitability - so issues such as flexibility around exams/full time work or what support/training is provided, are taken into consideration.
SheffieldVolunteering also co-ordinates its own volunteering programme and you can use this system to register interest for these projects too.
If you'd like more help to find something that's right for you, please visit us in our office in The Union. See www.sheffieldvolunteering.info for location / opening times.
Please note, graduates of the University of Sheffield can also use this system but you first need to complete registration in the office. This allows us to ensure that additional requirements are met (e.g. insurance).
If you are a voluntary group, charitable or statutory body whose volunteer activities take place in Sheffield, you can use this information system to promote your volunteer opportunities.
SheffieldVolunteering will use the information you provide to promote your organisation to students and staff at the University of Sheffield. There is no charge for this service but we do ask that you read our terms and conditions carefully before you complete the online registration form.
Please note, we do not accept personal applications from individual clients or other members of the public.
